Paradise Ridge Winery

Location: Santa Rosa, CA

Project Architect(s): TLCD Architecture

Sq. Footage: 7,661

The Paradise Ridge Winery hospitality and event center, known for its wine, breathtaking views and welcoming gathering spaces was among the 5,643 structures destroyed in the 2017 Tubbs Fire.

The rebuild of the hospitality and event center was completed shortly after the two-year anniversary of the fire. The new 7,661 SF building is a modern, two-story structure that is instantly recognizable, but design changes offer more natural light, additional tasting and hospitality areas, sustainability in both the building and the landscaping, and full compliance with the Wildland-Urban Interface mandates.

The first level terrace provides a spectacular vineyard view and leads into the winery’s tasting area where guests can experience tasting at the wine bar or in the new private tasting room. A spacious event room on the second level features a bar, catering kitchen, and tall sliding glass doors that open to the covered deck with views of Russian River Valley and the winery’s famous LOVE sculpture.

This project was recognized as one of the North Bay Business Journal’s Top Real Estate Projects of 2019.
